Transformers 2: Revenge Of The Fallen – The Wait Is Almost Over

Who would’ve thought that a flick regarding huge, converting automatons based on an animated series from the way back eightees would be one of the premier grossing films unprecedented?

That’s exactly what happened with Michael Bay’s 2006 chartbuster version of the Transformers, featuring Optimus Prime and the heroic Autobots against Megatron and the wicked Decepticons for control of the transcendent All Spark, the creator of all responsive robotic life. Their combat carries on throughout centuries, through the unfathomable niches of the creation, and to our world.

The film solidified the status of Shia LaBeouf – who played Sam Witwicky – as a bankable A-list performer and propelled Megan Fox – who portrayed Sam’s love pursuit – into super recognition.

It comes as no surprise that the follow-up to the movie, Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen, is one of the most expected flicks of 2009.

Scheduled for June 26, 2009 issue, Revenge of the Fallen will tell the ongoing tale of the Autobots on Earth, but will at the same time be more large-scale than the original. Gossips continue, however, that the Earth won’t be the only combat zone in Transformers 2. The Fallen, after all, refers to one of the first 13 Transformers made by the automaton god Primus who betrayed his inventor by backing Primus’ evil brother, the planet-engulfing, planet -sized, and planet-transforming Unicron. This informs us that Transformers 2 won’t just be global in range, it will be intergalactic as well.

The scenario and the personalities are shrouded in mystery, though leaked
pictures of filming show the following probabilities:

- Assembly vehicles painted with filthy green which may direct to the Constructicons – 7 Decepticon robots that transform into construction automobiles and combine to develop the grand Devastator.

- Unused notion art of an Autobot named Long Haul is alleged to have been unearthed for this sequel.

- Arcee, a female Autobot who turns into a motorbike and who was thought to be a member of the group in the initial movie is sure to be incorporated in Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen.

- Hasbro’s recent Licensing Summit showed several novel toys scheduled for the issuance of Transformers 2, which indicate new characters which may play some positions in the movie. Together with them are a tiger-resembling robot called Ravage, which would seem to be a sign of the involvement of his master and Megatron’s faithful right hand man, Soundwave. Talking about Megatron, the new models would display that he will be given a new alt form: a tank. Also, a Chevrolet Corvette will transform into the cartoon favorite, Sideswipe.
